In the book of Job we find the question and the answer.
All the days of my appointed time, I WILL WAIT, till my change come. JOB 14:14. KJV.
Thou shalt call and I will answer thee: thou shalt have a desire to the work of thine hands. Job 14:15.
Yes the scriptures tell us we shall live again. Here is another scripture to re-enforce what we find in the book of Job. From the New Testament——-
And as it is appointed unto all men once to die, but after this the judgement ; Hebrews 9-27.
Note: the operative word in both passages, Appointed.
From the gospel of John we learn the following: Martha said unto him I know that he shall rise again, in the resurrection on the last day John 11:24, speaking of her brother Lazarus.
The messiah answers in the next verse. He said unto her I am the resurrection and the life, he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live.
Note: Lazarus was dead, he was awaiting the resurrection from the dead, he did not go anywhere but the grave.(You know the rest of that story)
Now to the book Ecclesiastes, All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. 3 and verse 20.
supporting the scripture we find in Genesis 3 and verse 19 for dust thou art and unto dust shalt thou return.
Let us now look at some supporting scriptures, that clearly shows every one goes to the same place, The good the bad, ( and all the not so bad and not so good )
All things come alike to all; there is one event to the righteous, and to the wicked; to the good, and to the clean, and to the unclean; to him who sacrifices; and to him who sacrifices not; as is the good so is the sinner, and he that swears, as he that feareth an oath. Ecclesiastes 9:2.
This is an evil among all things that are under the sun, that there is ONE EVENT TO ALL : yea also the heart of the sons of men is full of evil, and madness is in their heart while they live, and after that THEY GO TO THE DEAD. Ecclesiastes 9:3
Comment: We learn from the scriptures above, the good the bad and all others in between go to the grave. No one goes to heaven or hell. There is no Hell.
That should be comforting to everyone who doubts where their deceased love ones are.
Comment: You and I and all Christianity have been taught, dead people go to heaven or hell. I would like to know how they go there. No where in your bible can you find any scriptures to support dead people going anywhere, other than where the living places them.
We continue with verse 5 of Ecclesiastes chapter 9: For the living know that they shall die, but the dead know not anything; neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Question: How many times have you heard some one say, so and so, or cousin Jim or Aunt Sally is up in heaven looking down at us? Many I am sure. Or the priest at the burial ceremony say; Father welcome Aunt Sally into your kingdom after he just got finished praying for the kingdom to come. What nonsense?
Let’s go to verse 10; Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might
( why ?)
for there is no work, nor devise, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave wither thou goest.
Once again we are able to establish the condition of the deceased, right from the scriptures. The Late Steve Jobs in one of his last television appearances had this to say: No one wants to die, but we are told we must die in order to go to heaven.
Mr Jobs was merely reflecting on his Christian indoctrination, which was bogus then, and still is today. As I mentioned above.
Here is the scripture for all those who still subscribe to that kind of confusion,
For as in Adam all die so in messiah ALL shall be made alive. 1st Corinth: 15:22.
All the good the bad and those in between Hebrews 9 and verse 27 says
It is appointed unto all men once to die After death comes judgement
Not at the time of our death.
One more scripture until the next article on this subject.
Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God/Elohim who gave it Eccl: 12 -7.
Author of the revelation of revelation. The book of revelation a total fraud. Not scripture.
