From Mark 16 and vs.15 we read the following, and he said unto them, go ye  into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Millions of Christians over the centuries have assumed, that command is for anyone who reads it.  Sadly they neglect to take into consideration what is written in the previous verse.

Here is what we find in verse 14;   Afterwards he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, (read them the riot act) because they believed not them who had seen him after he was risen. From the scriptures  then,we see that command was for the 11 disciples who were given their marching orders that day.

( made Apostles.) .

An there we have it, a specific command from the messiah to his disciples. The ones who were made apostles, but that is not all, in Luke 24:49, here is the remainder of that command, and behold I send forth the promise of my father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem until ye be clothed with power from on high.

Comment: No one else,  no individual, no religious organization has received that power from on high, to go out and preach the good news. The scriptures makes that abundantly clear.

Question: Why are so many millions today, woefully unaware of that fact?

Now to the command that is given to all believers, then and now. John chapter 8 and verse 31:

Then said Jesus Immanuel to those Jews (Yehudim) which believed on him, if ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; verse 32; and ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free. Obeying that command is the path to the knowledge of the truth.

NOTE:

To all believers, that is a command from messiah to be taken seriously, in order to qualify as disciples and become members of the messianic community. (First-fruits)

Proof; Acts 5:32  And we are his witnesses of these things; and so also is the Holy Spirit whom God/ Elohim hath given to him that obey him. Those words from Peter/Shimon and John responding to the religious authority of the day.

Peter and John healed the sick by the power of the holy spirit which was given to them for their obedience, to the instruction given to them in John 8:31-32. 

Here is a list of the signs that would follow the believers who respond to the good news. Mark 16:17 KJV and these signs shall follow those who believe, in my name they shall cast out demons they shall speak with new tongues: they shall take up serpents, and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands upon the sick, and they shall recover.

Question: If the people who claim to be apostles today, possessed that kind of power to heal the sick, and cast out demons?  We would have a wonderful world, no sick people among those who are being called.

The churches would be filled with healthy happy people, outsiders would be breaking down the doors of the churches hoping  to be healed. That would lead to rioting in the streets, people carrying all manner of sick people who are looking to be healed.

The signs were there in order for the apostles to be able to identify the people who were being called. ( the first-fruits ) THERE ARE no APOSTLES in the messianic community today.

THAT  SHOULD BE OBVIOUS TO ALL HUMANITY.

The next question then, is how do we identify the people who are being called. The (first-fruits)  the Apostle Sha’ul / Saul reminded Timothy that the messianic community/church is the ground and pillar of truth. 1 Timothy 3:15 . Since the Church/First-fruits are not an organized body in a specific location, one would need to find the people who possesses the knowledge of the truth.

Those who are being called are being called by the Father. Here is the proof:  No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him, and I will raise him up on the last day. John;6:44

Comment:  No religious leader no religious organization can call you. The people who invite others, to go to worship services so they can be saved, or go to church because that constitutes Sabbath keeping, are sadly mistaken, they have no knowledge of that scripture above.

Here is another passage of scripture to drive it home. Sanctify them by thy truth thy word is truth. John;17:9.

Comment: If you are not being called the scriptures above will mean absolutely nothing to you. In the same chapter above verse 9 will help you to understand the scriptures above:

I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; For they are thine.

Again: I ask, why are so many people trying to save the world? 

Let me re-enforce that for you: From the gospel of John chapter 4 and verse 24:

GOD/Elohim is a spirit, and those who worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. Once again the messiah points the reader of his words to the TRUTH.  In the first chapter of John we are told; Grace and TRUTH came by the messiah. I am the way the life and the truth, no man comes to the Father but by me. John  14:6.

If you are not being called, it simply means you are not among the first-fruits. You are not lost. Messiah gave his life for the entire world.
